Golf Apartments | Omniview Design | Greece
Project name: Golf Apartments
Construction company: Golf Apartments
Chief Architect: Dimitri Tsigos
Designer team: Ioanna Iliadi, Afroditi Maragkou, Danai Diou, Christina Tsakiri, Lina Kazolea, Katerina-Christina Anastasopoulou
Project location: Glyfada, Greece
The architectural language of the balcony reappeared on the exterior walls of the building. The corner facing the golf course is interpreted as curved glass, a nod to nearby landmarks.
This is a high-end residential development next to the famous golf course in Gilifada, Greece. The clear form of the building, as well as the interesting geometry of the street-facing facade, derived from an interpretation of local planning regulations, creates a wire frame that engulfs the entire volume. Curved balconies with alternating directions create a lively, stylish rhythm on the facade. This rhythm extends to the side facades, bringing the architectural squeeze of the building into the same design language while providing a sense of movement.
A sense of movement is maintained throughout the design. This feeling is reinforced by the penthouse's double-height living area, which is briefly interrupted by a flying bridge connecting the mezzanine to the balcony.
The sense of openness on the ground floor is achieved through a double height interior connected to the adjoining private garden.
For the interior, vertical shutters are used as functional shading devices that accentuate the vertical geometry. Bespoke Spaces - partitions and furniture - combine materials such as wood and marble to enhance the overall elegance.
Yoga Residence | Cat Moc Group | Vietnam
Project name: Yoga House
Construction company: Cat Moc Group
Principal Architect: Ph m Thanh Truyền
Designer team: Phun B * o Long, Ph PHM Trung Hi
Project location: Vietnam
The architects planned multiple sized doors and at least one garden on each floor to ensure that the house is surrounded by a variety of plants. The exterior walls of the five-story home are made up of 25,000 staggered bricks that help form numerous "breathing holes" and block wind, air flow and harsh sunlight from entering the interior Spaces. This style has a rustic yet compact look that makes the house stand out in the heart of the community. In order to improve the microclimate, prevent dust, and reduce the temperature when hot air blows into the room, the aquarium is placed in front of the house, surrounded by green trees. Owners can relax in nature by viewing the aquarium and trees outside the living room.
The house facing west was full of green trees. The house's "coat" against heat is formed by green areas extending from the inside to the outside and brick walls with numerous ventilation holes. The home of a family of four is located in a crowded neighborhood in District 11 of Ho Chi Minh City. A west-southwest location should see strong solar radiation and direct heat in the afternoon. The 185 square meters of construction land area is also limited and not square. The owners wanted a cool living environment with plenty of trees to mitigate the effects of the weather.
Norfolk Pine Apartments | Koichi Takada | Australia
Project name: Norfolk Pine Apartments
Architect: Koichi Takada Architects
Project location: Polystage, Queensland, Australia
Project location: Glyfada, Greece
Its design was inspired by the local Norfolk pine trees. Designed to enjoy the 1,012 SQM waterfront site on Goodwin Terrace at the southern end of Burleigh Heads Beach, the north-facing 10-storey building offers 15 stunning apartments, two top-floor double-storey apartments with private rooftop pool, And impressive ground floor perks: year-round access to prime location amenities, including a gym, outdoor pool and sauna.
"Norfolk's sculptural facade references the inner workings of the Norfolk Pines, a natural icon of the Gold Coast region," Takada said. "Just as their pine cones protect their seeds from the elements and open in an ideal natural setting, Norfolk's buildings can be adapted to protect residents from natural disasters, or open to receive 300 days of subtropical sunshine and stunning natural surroundings."
Anli, Moganshan | gad |, Zhejiang, China
Project name: Gunari
Construction Company: gad
Chief Architect: Jiang Yu
Designer team: Zhang Xingjun, Huang Yuebiao, Yang Yu, Jin Tong, Ao Shenying, Wang Yuan (internship), Bao Huaying (internship)
Project location: Moganshan, Deqing, Zhejiang, China
Construction unit: Deqing Yulong Tourism Development Co., LTD
The project is located in the summer resort town of Moganshan, where the wind of vacation has risen since the Republic of China. Local architecture since the late Qing Dynasty has shown a fascination with foreign style villas, and now it is more concentrated to cater to the trend of Internet celebrity homestays and so on. We can't help thinking about what kind of house can withstand the changes of aesthetics and the test of time. What can be preserved may only be the picturesque landscape here, so it is our first choice to maximize the protection of the mountain and let the architecture embrace the natural landscape.
On the one hand, we try to create a new mountain residential model suitable for commercial development, in order to balance the interests of developers and customer living experience; On the other hand, we have also made new exploration of environmental protection and construction technology. Frank Lloyd Wright once said, "A house should not be built on a mountain, it should be a part of a mountain." In the form of stilted buildings, each building becomes a tree, growing on the hillside.

Helmet Park Residence | MXTAD | Portugal
Project name: Casco Parque Mexico
Construction Company: MXTAD
Principal Architect: MXTAD
Designer Team: MXTAD
Project location: Puebla, Mexico
Construction unit: Private
Puebla. The building was designed with two main objectives: as a centre of coexistence and leisure for residents and visitors of all ages, and as a prototype for future homes within the cluster.
The planning and positioning of the project is both the core of the complex and the main visual reference for the entrance of the cluster. However, it takes advantage of existing terrain levels and creates new natural barriers to maintain privacy within its space. The ground floor, half level below street level, has a garden, children's area, common room and swimming pool; The upper floor serves as a more private area, with a small gym, a joint office and a contemplative terrace that captures and constructs the best views of its surroundings.
